Mango Sorbet

  • 2 whole Mangos
  • 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 1/3 cups Sugar
  • 1/3 cups Water

    Start by making simple syrup: boil water with sugar until sugar dissolve. Set aside.

    Squeeze the juice of the lemon and set aside.

    To cut the mango (it has a large pit), make a vertical line all the way around the fruit. Pull (hard) the halves apart. You may need to use a knife to cut around the pit. Peel off the skin of each half.

    Next, puree the mango.

    Add the lemon juice and simple syrup and blend until completely smooth.

    Freeze for 1 hour, then puree again.
