Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. torn fresh bread
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce

Directions

    Combine meat, crumbs, onion, eggs, parsley and salt.

    Mix lightly.

    Shape into 1-inch balls.

    Brown margarine and drain. Place in 2-quart casserole.

    Combine preserves and barbecue sauce.

    Pour over meatballs.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
