- 8 manicotti
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 cup onion, finely chopped
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 (7 1/2 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1Cook manicotti as directed on package.

2Rinse with cold water; drain.

3Combine cottage cheese, eggs and Parmesan cheese, stirring well.

4Add parsley, salt, pepper and onion.

5Using teaspoon, stuff shells with mixture.

6Heat oil in frying pan, add beef, onions, garlic and salt.

7Scramble fry until brown.

8Remove from heat; stir in tomato sauce.

9Pour half the meat sauce into 9x12 - inch pan.

10Arrange manicotti over top.

11Spoon second half of meat sauce over shells.

12Sprinkle with Parmesan.

13Bake, uncovered, in 350F oven for 45 minutes.
