- 3 cups maple syrup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions

1Put maple syrup and milk in heavy saucepan.

2Boil to the soft ball stage, or about 235 degrees on the candy thermometer.

3Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

4Beat until mixture is creamy.

5Add nuts.

6Pour mixture into 8 inch buttered square pan and spread out evenly.

7Let cool until firm.

8Cut into pieces.

9Store in airtight container in a cool place.
