- 1 whole Roaster Chicken
- Salt And Pepper
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cups Maple Syrup
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2Remove the organs from inside the chicken, then rinse and pat the chicken dry.

3Grease a foil-lined baking sheet and place the chicken, breast-side-down, on the baking sheet.

4Drizzle olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

5Roast for 30 minutes, then turn the chicken breast-side-up and insert a meat thermometer into the area between the thigh and the breast.

6Pour maple syrup over the chicken, then season with more salt and pepper.

7Roast for approximately 45 minutes more, until the meat thermometer registers 165 degrees.

8Baste occasionally with additional maple syrup, if desired.

9When chicken finishes cooking, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

10Carve and serve.
