- 1 pound small turnips, trimmed and peeled
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions

1Cut turnips in half and into 1/2-inch wedges. Combine 1/4 cup water and remaining ingredients in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add turnips, turning to coat; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until tender. Uncover and cook 7 minutes or until turnips are glazed.
