- 1/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Stir until well blended, but do not beat.

4Pour into a well-greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

5Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
