  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • brown sugar
  • nuts
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Sift flour with baking powder; set aside.

    Cream together margarine and brown sugar.

    Add eggs, milk and flavorings.

    Mix in flour mixture.

    Divide in 5 parts, roll thin, spread with melted margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.

    Fold toward center.

    Cut in strips and twist.

    Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.

    Frost when cool.
