  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. maple extract
