Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cook up all carrots until barely done and drain.

    Then chop up onion and bell pepper and add to carrots.

    Mix rest of the ingredients together and bring to a boil.

    Let cool, then pour the mixture over the carrots, onion and pepper.

    Place in refrigerator and marinate for 12 hours or longer.

    It will keep for 2 to 3 weeks.
