Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots, cleaned and thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup (undiluted)

Directions

    Cook carrots in unsalted water until tender.

    Drain and place in a bowl with pepper and onion.

    Mix remaining ingredients and bring mixture to a boil.

    Pour over carrots.

    May be served warm or cold.
