  • 2 lb. carrots, cut diagonally
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. mustard

Directions

    Cook carrots until tender in salted water.

    Mix soup, sugar, vinegar, oil and mustard.

    Add carrots, onion and pepper in glass dish.

    Let marinate several hours or overnight.

    Sauce can be used again when vegetables are gone for another batch.
