  • 2 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 1 very large white onion, sliced
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. each: Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil sliced carrots until tender.

    Cool and drain.

    Layer in a non-metal bowl with sliced onion.

    Heat together remaining ingredients.

    Pour over carrots and onions.

    Marinate overnight, stirring several times.
