Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 5 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup (Campbell's)
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar (white)
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cook carrots until crisp-tender.

    Drain and cool.

    Cut onions and peppers in rings, add to carrots.

    Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over carrots.

    Cover and let marinate overnight.

    When ready to serve, drain off the sauce.
