Marinated Carrots

Ingredients
- 2 lb. carrots
- 1 large onion
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Scrape, wash and slice carrots.

2Cook until tender (do not overcook).

3Drain well.

4Chop onion and green pepper (coarsely). In a large bowl, add onion, green pepper and cooked carrots.

5Mix together:

6tomato soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.

7Pour the tomato soup mixture over carrots, etc.

8Cover tightly and chill several hours or overnight.
