Marinated Cauliflower Salad

  • 1 1/3 c. salad oil
  • 2/3 c. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 1 (6 oz.) can pitted ripe olives
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • Boston lettuce leaves

Directions

    Early in the day or the day before serving, combine first 7 ingredients.

    Cauliflower should be sliced and stirred into the rest.

    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.

    Drain and slice olives and chop the green pepper.

    Line salad bowl with Boston lettuce and spoon salad into bowl.
