  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style string beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can English peas, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can white kernel corn, drained
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper

Directions

    Mix together in a saucepan sugar, vinegar, oil, water, salt and pepper.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cool.

    This is the marinade. Combine the beans, peas, corn, onions and green peppers.

    Pour marinade over.

    Mix well and refrigerate 4 hours before serving.
