  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 12 teaspoon ground chipotle chile pepper
  • 12 teaspoon cumin
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 12 cup red wine
  • 12 cup soy sauce
  • 1 (2 -3 lb) flank steaks

    Mix spices.

    Add red wine and soy sauce.

    Place steak in gallon sized ziploc.

    Pour marinade over steak and refrigerate 4-16 hours.

    Grill over medium high heat for 6 minutes per side for rare, 7 minutes per side for medium or 8 minutes per side for well done.

    Remove from grill and let rest 10 minutes.

    Slice thinly across the grain.
