Marinated Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sherry
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 (4 to 5 lb.) pork loin roast or 6 to 8 pork chops

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients.

    Place chops or roast in large clear plastic bag.

    Pour in marinade and close bag tightly. Marinate 2 to 3 hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.

    Remove roast, place on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast, uncovered, at 325° for 3 hours.

    Baste with marinade.

    If using chops, bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or cook on charcoal grill 10 minutes each side.
