Marinated Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 ribs celery, chopped
  • 8 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Directions

    Break cauliflower and broccoli into bite sized flowerets. Combine vegetables.

    Toss lightly.

    Combine remaining ingredients to make marinade.

    Mix the marinade well and pour it over the vegetables.
