Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 3 egg whites

    Cook to 242 degrees (medium hard ball).

    While this is cooking, place the following in a mixing bowl: 1/2 c. warm Karo syrup 3 or 4 egg whites Beat slowly until mixed and then beat hard until light and fluffy.

    Pour the first mixture into this in a fine stream.

    When all mixed, beat hard for 3 minutes.

    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

    Store in cans or jars.

    Don't cover until cold.
