Ingredients

  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water at 245°.

    While this is cooking, put the egg whites (beaten stiff) in a bowl; pour the first mixture into this, in a fine stream.

    When all is mixed, beat hard for 3 minutes.

    Add vanilla; don't cover until cold.
