Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 sq. bitter chocolate
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 lb. marshmallows
- 1 c. walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put sugar, syrup and milk in saucepan; let stand until sugar is melted.

2Shave chocolate into mixture.

3Put over fire and bring to boiling point.

4Do not stir.

5Let boil 2 minutes and add butter.

6Cook until soft ball is formed in cold water.

7Remove from fire.

8Line long pan with marshmallows; sprinkle with nuts. Let fudge cool slightly in pan of cold water while beating.

9Fudge must be quite warm when poured over marshmallows.

10When cool, cut into 2-inch squares.
