Marshmallow Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 lb. miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 egg yolks
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 pt. whipped cream

Directions

    Mix pineapple and marshmallows and set aside.

    Cook until thick the mustard, juice, flour and egg yolks.

    Add lemon juice and cool.

    Combine with reserved fruit mixture and whipped cream. Chill.

    Chopped nuts and maraschino cherries may be placed on top.
