  • 1 teaspoon (2 Scoops) Matcha Powder
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 teaspoon Raw Honey, Or More To Taste
  • 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1/4 cups Plus 2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream

Directions

    Place the matcha powder in a deep bowl or mug. Heat the water to 160°F (70°C) and pour over the matcha powder. Use a matcha whisk to first bury all the powder under the water, then whisk vigorously in a back-and-forth motion until the matcha is completely dissolved.

    Add the honey and vanilla bean paste and whisk until incorporated.

    Heat the milk and cream in a small pan set over medium-low heat. The milk/cream should be between 140 and 160°F (60-70°C). Froth the milk/cream. Pour over the dissolved matcha.
