- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine flour, milk and mayonnaise, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

2Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet with oil.

3Place in a 400° oven for 4 minutes, or until hot. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cornmeal.

4Spoon batter into skillet.

5Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
