- 2 lb. hamburger or ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. chili mix with onion
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. seasoned rice
- 8 oz. shredded sharp cheese
Directions

1Saute meat in large, heavy skillet or saucepan on low heat. Stir and separate particles until color changes.

2Do not brown. Pour off excess fat.

3Add salt, pepper, chili mix and catsup. Continue cooking on low heat about 20 minutes.

4Add mushrooms, chestnuts, tomatoes and corn.

5Continue cooking about 10 more minutes.

6Pour into large casserole dish.
