- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. rice, uncooked
- salt and pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. bacon grease
- 1 whole cabbage
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 can water
Directions

1Make meat balls from the first five ingredients.

2Boil a whole cabbage for 5 minutes.

3Take whole leaves and wrap meat balls in them.

4Chop up remaining cabbage in small pieces and place on bottom of pan.

5Lay meat balls wrapped in leaves on top.

6Pour chopped tomatoes on top and add water.

7Let simmer about 45 minutes.
