- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 egg
- 2 slices bread, soaked in enough warm water to saturate bread
- 1 small onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well.

2Wet hands with cold water and form meat balls about the size of a quarter.

3Fry until well browned in deep fat or oil.

4Turn into a saucepan.

5Put 1 can undiluted cream of chicken or celery soup over them.

6Simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes.

7Soup will form delicious gravy.
