- 6 hard rolls
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. tomato soup
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- garlic salt
Directions

1Cut slice from top of rolls and hollow out center of each roll.

2Reserve crumbs for meat mix.

3Season softened butter with garlic salt lightly and spread on inside walls of rolls.

4Saute green pepper and onion in butter.

5Soften crumbs in tomato soup and egg.

6Mix sauteed onion and green pepper with crumb mixture; add salt and pepper.

7Add meat to these ingredients; mix well. Fill hollowed rolls with meat mixture.

8Place meat boats on buttered pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
