- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2/3 c. tomato soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
- 3/4 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Brown onions and pepper, then add meat and cook 5 minutes.

2Add soup and water to meat and cook 5 minutes.

3Place 1 cup macaroni in casserole.

4Add layer of meat and layer of cheese.

5Add second layer of each.

6Cover and cook 25 minutes at 350°.

7Remove cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
