Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground round steak
  • 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 strips bacon
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato soup or tomato sauce

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix meat, bread crumbs, Accent, soup mix, eggs, ketchup and warm water.
  2. 2
    Put in meat loaf pan and cover with 2 strips of bacon. Pour tomato soup or sauce over meat mixture.
  3. 3
    Bake 1 hour at 350°. Serves 6.
