Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped or 2 tsp. minced dry onion
- 1 large egg
- 1 slice white bread, dipped in water and squeezed
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 c. beef broth
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread, parsley, onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

3Mix well.

4Shape in loaf and place in baking dish.

5Add beef broth.

6Bake uncovered 1 hour, basting frequently.

7Remove from oven and cool.

8Wrap in foil and refrigerate.

9Slice thinly and serve with Dijon mustard.

10Delicious when heated, but I think it is at its best when chilled (thinly sliced and served with mustard).
