Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. water (around loaf while cooking)
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Add salt, pepper, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, rolled oats and milk.

3Mix well.

4Add beef and pork.

5The secret of a meat loaf is to have it very moist, hardly holds together in pan.

6Shape meat into a loaf.

7Bake in a heavy pan. Small amount of water (1 cup) around the meat loaf.

8Baste several times during cooking period.

9Bake in 375° oven for one hour or more, if needed.
