  • 12 to 14 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/3 c. salt or to taste
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 c. finely chopped bell pepper
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. milk
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 qt. finely chopped bread crumbs
  • 6 to 7 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Directions

    Mix meat, salt, onions, crumbs and pepper together well. Combine eggs and milk and add to mixture.

    Then add tomato sauce and blend thoroughly.

    Shape into loaves and place in shallow pan for baking.

    Can be baked in shallow pans and cut in squares for serving.

    Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
