Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 pkg. Kraft Italian style spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 16 oz. pkg. Mozzarella cheese slices
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown meat, add green pepper and cook until tender.

    Stir in sauce mix, tomato paste and water.

    Simmer 10 minutes.

    Grease 9-inch pie plate.

    Line with biscuits.

    Press together to seal. Pour in 1/2 meat mixture.

    Add Parmesan cheese.

    Add remaining meat and top with Mozzarella cheese in lattice-work fashion.
