- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 3/4 c. cracker crumbs
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 3/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Combine ground beef, egg, cracker crumbs, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.

2Mix well and form into a flat rectangle, about 10 x 12-inches, on waxed paper.

3Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese evenly over meat mixture.

4Roll up like a jelly roll and press ends of roll to seal.

5Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6Pour off excess fat.

7Pour on remaining tomato sauce and bake an additional 20 minutes.

8Makes 4 to 6 servings.
