Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 3 slices white bread
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • cracker meal or bread crumbs
  • evaporated milk
  • Mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • onion (optional)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Directions

    Soak bread slices in enough evaporated milk to saturate.

    Mix all ingredients together using just enough bread crumbs to form. Roll into 2-inch meat balls.

    Arrange in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Cover with Ragu spaghetti sauce and bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Place 3 or 4 meatballs on Italian rolls. Add sauce and shredded Mozzarella if desired.
