- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 to 1 c. fine bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- tomato sauce (Italian tomato sauce recipe)
Directions

1Mix all ingredients (except oil and tomato sauce) with hands in a large bowl.

2When mixed, form 1 1/2 to 2-inch diameter balls. Fry in olive oil until browned and crusty on outside.

3Put in tomato sauce and simmer 1 hour.
