- 1 loaf whole wheat bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. freshly grated cheese (Parmesan or Romano)
- 2 cloves garlic, cut small
- 1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Add milk and remaining ingredients except bread. Mix well and add bread cubes. Mix with wet hands to form balls, pressing a little so that bread is no longer in cubes.

3If too dry, add more milk.

4Brown lightly in oil (Mazola or olive). Drain on paper towels.
