- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1In a 2-cup glass measure, micro-melt the butter 30 to 40 seconds.

2With rubber scraper, blend in flour, salt and pepper; stir in milk until well blended.

3Microcook, uncovered, 1 minute; stir.

4Microcook until thickened and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes; stir thoroughly every 30 seconds, scraping bottom and sides of cup to remove all lumps.

5Makes about 1 cup.
