  • 12 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 34 cup chopped pecans

    Cream Crisco and sugar and add eggs, well beaten.

    Add salt and vanilla -- sift baking powder with flour and mix well.

    Spread in long shallow pan and cover with second layer.and bake in 350.

    Cut into squares when cool.

    Bake till browned.
