- 8 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Beat egg whites until foamy.

2Add cream of tartar and water. Beat until stiff and in peaks.

3Add sugar, 1 or 2 at a time.

4Beat well after each addition.

5Beat until very stiff.

6Spread over pie.

7Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
