- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 large onions, diced
- 1 sweet green pepper, chopped
- 2 (1 lb.) cans pinto beans, drained (reserve juice)
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can taco sauce
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, chopped or mashed
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. comino seed
Directions

1In large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the meat.

2Drain off all grease; saute onion and pepper.

3Combine all ingredients in skillet or Dutch oven.

4Cover and simmer about 1 hour.

5Add some of the liquid from the beans if it's too dry.
