- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained (optional)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
Directions

1Wash chicken well.

2Coat with flour.

3Cook in oil until brown.

5Put in remaining ingredients and mix.

6Return chicken to pan.

8Cook 30 to 40 minutes or until tender.
