- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 large green or red peppers
- 2 large Spanish onions
- 32 oz. Mexican style chili beans
- 32 oz. fresh stewed tomatoes
- 4 oz. green chiles or jalapeno peppers, cut up with juice
- 1 Tbsp. garlic
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder (optional: red pepper)
Directions

1Brown meat with green or red peppers (finely chopped or bite-size).

2Add onions.

3Drain off fat.

4Blend in remaining items. Let stew in crock-pot for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

5This will enhance flavor.

6Serve topped with grated cheese and sour cream and don't forget the crackers.
