- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 2/3 c. salad oil
- 1 1/2 c. corn meal
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 green jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and chopped
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green peppers
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Mix all ingredients except cheese in order given.

2Pour half of the mixture into hot, well-greased iron skillet.

3Sprinkle half of the cheese over batter. Add remaining corn meal mixture and top with the rest of the cheese.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

5Bread may be sliced and buttered, if so desired.
