- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 1 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green chilies (more if you like)
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients and mix well.

2Beat egg and milk together; add corn.

3Saute onion and chilies in oleo until tender. Add milk mixture, onion mixture and cheese to dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed; pour into greased 8-inch square pan.

4Bake in 400° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
