  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 mango pepper, cut fine
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar hot pepper (pour its juice - 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 c. onion, cut fine
  • 1 (8 oz.) can cream style corn
  • 1 c. sweet milk (1/2 buttermilk and 1/2 sweet)
  • 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese

Directions

    Pour into well-greased pan. Bake at 350° until brown, or about 30 minutes.
