- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 1/2 oz. cream-style corn
- 4 oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1In bowl, stir together flour, meal, baking powder, salt and sugar.

2Stir in cheese, corn, chilies, milk and oil.

3Beat eggs until yolks and whites are combined.

4Add to cornmeal mixture. Stir until blended.

5Turn into 9-inch square oiled pan.

6Bake in 400° oven until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
